HELLO
My name is Federica and I work in Theatre, Cinema and Television as an actress and creator.
I was born in Sicily and I'm currently based Madrid, collaborating with other artists and developing my own projects.
I work i trained and worked, among others, with: Juan Carlos Corazza, Yoshi Oïda, Thomas Richards and Mario Biagini, Gabriel Chamé, Pablo Messiez, Fernanda Orazi, Marco Bellocchio, Emma Dante, Jean-Guy LeCat, Claudio Naranjo, Andrés Neumann.
I am committed to creating artistic places where transparency, active listening and non-oppression practices are cultivated.
I research and study the language of performance in contexts of non-representation.

An open and itinerant performance and research
If art is the extension of intimate space or perhaps the last intimate space we have left, how to proceed?
To cede, immediately is a ready-to-tour participatory show that can engage variable number of local artists (10-30+) depending on staging space, as a workshop-performance, with an open call to local artists and participants.
An open, itinerant and interdisciplinary scenic creation, in which the author Federica Cuccia conducts research on care, intimacy and belonging between living beings through performance and encounter.
A place where communities are built and possible worlds imagined, a starting point for new perspectives on ecology and pacifism.
The first creation residency of the project took place in Palermo between November and December 2023 at the Riso Museum, Cappella dell’Incoronazione.
The period of writing and scenic composition, with the involvement of stage artists, student and teachers of the University, Fine Arts and Conservatory of Palermo, gave life to a performance and a video installation.
The residency was was sponsored by Ersu Palermo, in partnership with Abapa, Sistema Museale d'Ateneo, Qmedia, Sinergie Group and Elenk'art.
